Ajax Downs is a good place for entertainment in Southern Ontario with Live Quarter Horse Racing. It has a long history of Quarter Horse Racing in Canada since 1969.  The original name of “Picov Downs” was modified in 2006 with the establishment of a new Slots facility and construction of a full 6-furlong oval racetrack which was fulfilled in 2009.
 
Ajax Downs offers over 800 OLG Slots and off-track betting in our Simulcast area with over 70 screens for your viewing pleasure.
  •     Admission is always free & all ages are welcome
  •     Bank machine available outside of Simulcast
  •     No pets (service dogs are allowed)
  •     Ample Parking and shuttle to front doors.
  •     Elevator Access to patio and paddock for stroller, wheelchair.
  •     Food is available. Gateway restaurant and outdoor patio, fully licensed outdoor Barbecue by paddock, VIP 18+ room with fully licensed and restaurant service.
  •     Picnic tables and umbrellas for use on patio, also full grandstand seating.
  •     They have an Ajax Downs VIP Clubhouse Lounge available for +18 patrons which includes a Live teller, betting machines, outdoor patio with covered pergola, comfortable couches, washroom, and hostess to assist you. VIP Clubhouse Lounge is fully licensed with food service from the   Gateway restaurant. This room is available for private events.
  •     For first time bettors they offer a “How To Bet 101” booth on the patio to help you in learning or increasing your betting knowledge. Ajax Downs has a knowledgeable staff to answer questions and help you in your betting.
